Our work includes home cleaning, deep cleaning, end of tenancy cleaning, move in and move out cleaning, Airbnb and short-let turnover cleaning, office and commercial cleaning, after-builders cleaning, and add-on services.

We are looking for reliable, professional cleaners who take pride in doing work properly.

The role

We are looking for cleaners / cleaning operatives to carry out cleaning services at customer properties and premises assigned by Renlix.

This is a casual / zero-hours role. Work is offered based on customer bookings and business need, and there are no guaranteed hours.

Workers must keep their availability up to date in Connecteam so Renlix can avoid assigning jobs on days or times they are unavailable.

When a job is offered, workers must confirm whether they can do it within:

• 2 hours of the job being offered, or
• 30 minutes for same-day jobs offered on the day

If a worker does not confirm within the required time, the job may be assigned to someone else.

Repeated failure to confirm offered jobs within the required timeframe may result in no further work being offered and may lead to the casual worker arrangement being ended following review.

Once a job is accepted, workers are expected to attend and complete it properly unless prevented by illness, emergency, or another genuine reason.

What you will be doing

Work may include:

• home cleaning
• deep cleaning
• end of tenancy cleaning
• move in / move out cleaning
• Airbnb and short-let turnover cleaning
• office and commercial cleaning
• after-builders cleaning
• add-on tasks such as interior windows, oven cleaning, fridge cleaning, and other agreed extras

Depending on the job, you may work alone or with a cleaning buddy.

Pay

• £13.00 per hour for non-driving assignments
• £13.50 per hour for assignments where Renlix requires you to use your own vehicle for work travel

Pay is made monthly in arrears by bank transfer.

Important role requirements

Applicants should be willing and able to:

• use Connecteam for shifts, time tracking, instructions, and updates
• keep their availability and unavailable days updated in Connecteam
• confirm job offers within the required timeframe
• complete the Renlix Job Completion Form before clocking out
• take before and after photos where required
• follow shift notes and job instructions carefully
• complete all agreed add-ons included in the booking
• treat customer homes, premises, belongings, and security details with care and respect
• handle keys, lockboxes, alarms, and access codes responsibly
• work to a professional standard and report issues honestly

Equipment and products

Workers must provide their own vacuum for jobs unless shift instructions clearly state otherwise.

Renlix normally provides the cleaning products for jobs.

Some customers may request that their own products and/or equipment are used instead of Renlix products and equipment. Workers must be willing to follow the job instructions for each booking.

Any vacuum or equipment brought to a job must be clean, safe, suitable for use, and maintained to a professional standard.

Cleaning experience is helpful, but reliability, standards, and professionalism are very important.

Vehicle preference

Having your own vehicle is preferred, as this can help with travel between jobs and may be required for some assignments.

A higher hourly rate applies where Renlix requires you to use your own vehicle for work travel.

Areas covered

Work is mainly offered in: Brighton & Hove, Portslade, Worthing, Lancing, Shoreham, Fishersgate, Southwick, and nearby areas.
